About the university
The University of Graz is a public university with around 30,000 students. We offer over 120 different degree programmes in the following fields of interest:

The campus
In the pictures you can see our campus, which is located near the city center. The campus is easily accessible on foot, by bike or by bus. Our campus is a mixture of beautiful old buildings with modern elements. The library was reopened in 2019 after a major remodelling and offers plenty of space to study and hang out.
No to low tuition fees
There is no tuition fee for students from the EU/EEA/Switzerland. Students from non-EU/EEA countries pay comparatively low tuition fees. Read more.
In the center
Graz is located in the heart of Europe and is a vibrant student city with around 300,000 inhabitants. It is the second largest city in Austria after Vienna and, in addition to its own cultural and culinary offerings, is also an ideal starting point for excursions and discoveries.

International & Career
The university also has an excellent international network and has over 500 partner universities on all continents. As a student, you can finance your semester or internship abroad with Erasmus+, for example. There is also a career center at the university that supports you in your entry into professional life.
